A perfect example of where function meets design. The ‘chequered flag’ skin surrounding this futuristic building is a privacy screen and noise barrier for those residents facing an adjacent railway line. The see-through panel is illuminated at night. Added visual activity is generated by the bold multi-coloured rendering and asymmetrical clusters of balconies above the two screens with their mixed array of straight and curved rendered and glass frontages.
